Yun Jia (Jiajia) Li

Yun Jia (Jiajia) Li

Chairman, Vancouver

More info

Yunjia (Jiajia) Li is a grade 12 student currently attending University Hill Secondary School.

Striving to surpass none other than herself, Jiajia is constantly looking for ways to improve herself and give back to the community, both in and out of school. She leads two school clubs and is heavily involved in school and district wide student government.

In October 2013, she created the Canadian Youth Funding Association as a means to inspire youth around Toronto to get up and contribute to their communities in new and exciting ways. Noticing that many young individuals were reluctant to take initiative and search for volunteer opportunities and enriching events to take part in, she wanted to create a platform where the younger generation could easily be a part of such events and become more involved. This is made possible by the numerous events held by the Canadian Youth Funding Association. Since its establishment, CYFA has grown larger and continues to host events and motivate youth across Canada. Jiajia presently lives in Vancouver, where she oversees the B.C. branch of CYFA.

Through the events organized by the Canadian Youth Funding Association, Jiajia hopes that individuals will acquire useful life skills and become the best version of themselves that they can be.
